I love this place. Yeah the breads and stuff are good but check the fridge for Gua Bao. The yummiest braised pork belly sandwiches. You'll need to warm and assemble at home but they give you everything you need including the crushed peanuts and pickled veggies! If you're a "not too sweet" girly and don't like too much whip cream like me, order the crispy taro cake! It's not pretty like most birthday cakes and even the small size is very large but it's so good and always gets gobbled up by family when we bring it to gatherings. Service is fine and it looks a little shabby but the food is very much worth it.
A friend gifted us some beef sandies from here. BEEF SANDWICH ON SESAME SEED WHITE BREAD: -- thin beef -- chopped green onion -- nice soft bread -- bread holds up to the ingredients -- could use a side of vinegar/oil blend or something to add moisture and more flavor -- not dry nor moist but errs a tad on dry side if I had to choose RATING = A-

Custom birthday cake, came out great. Great customer service, called me to pick up my cake later so that it's more fresh, since it's banana. Gave recommendations and feedback on the decoration. A litter cozy bakery. Buns here are delicious as well.
Nice little taiwanese bakery tucked in the plaza with my daughter's afterschool. Really convenient for getting some bread when she's a bit hungry after school. Their stuff is authentic and cheap.
A favorite little bakery in Rowland heights! Clean interior and they always have a bunch of fresh bread, cakes, and buns in the morning. I love ordering the crispy layer sponge cake that's perfect for parties and gatherings. It has layers of crispy sheets, butter cream, and the softest sponge cake. Perfect amount of sweetness and perfectly cut into rectangles. Best to enjoy on the same day while the layers are still crispy! 16 pieces are $24 and they gave me an adorable Happy Father's Day sign too. Just be sure to call them 2 hours in advance before pickup so they make it fresh! The ladies at the front are always super friendly. I think if you spend $40, you get a $1 coupon to use on your next visit!
My hubby wanted a classic Chinese fruit cake. This means the cake is filled with fresh fruit, uses light and fluffy sponge cake, and has the smoothest buttercream. Nini's Bakery came through! Most Chinese bakeries offers some kind of fruit cake, but not all bakeries make them well. The fruit cake was filled with fresh mangos and strawberries. The sponge cake was light, airy, and slightly sweet. At $36, it's not cheap for an 8" cake. But I highly recommend Nini's Bakery if you're looking for that classic Chinese fruit cake taste!
